Teledyne Scientific Company (TSC) is focused on leading-edge R&D and niche products. The Electronics Division develops high speed electronics, MEMS sensors and actuators, and compound semiconductors. The Materials & Optics Division covers a broad range of R&D, including ceramic composites for next-generation rocket nozzles, energy harvesting technologies, electronic device packaging, biomaterials, and liquid crystal-based optical devices. The Information Sciences Division has key areas of expertise in autonomous systems, image and sensor processing, sensor and information fusion, resource allocation and planning, computational fluid dynamics, control and power systems, and wireless networking and network security. TSC produces a steady stream of intellectual property, software, and new products, which find application in high-impact government and commercial applications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES / CAPABILITIES:

•Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements

•Identifies resources needed and reviews individual responsibilities

•Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope

•Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client

•Effectively applies TS&I methodology and enforces PMI project standards

•Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures

•Minimizes company exposure and risk on project

•Ensures project documents are complete, current and stored appropriately

•Monitors, tracks and reports hours worked on project

•Manages project budget

•Analyzes project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization

•Understands basic revenue models, P/L, and cost-to-completion projections and makes decisions accordingly

•Understands TS&I pricing model and billing procedures

•Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions

•Holds regular status meetings with project team

•Effectively communicates relevant project information to superiors

•Other duties as assigned
 RequirementsEXPERIENCE / SKILLS:

•Ability to facilitate team and client meetings effectively

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills

•Ability to deliver engaging, informative and well-organized presentations

•Ability to resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion

•Advanced computer proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project)

•Must be highly organized and a self-starter

EDUCATION:

•Bachelor's Degree in a related field with ten (10) plus years of complex project and program experience

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

•Successful candidate must have an active Security Clearance or the ability to obtain a clearance
