Our client is an award-winning Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, experiencing positive growth and actively looking for an experienced Configuration and Customization Consultant.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Helps clients operate, optimize and manage their Microsoft Dynamics AX environments
  • Creates measured improvements in ERP operational health
  • Transfers knowledge to IT managers so they can carry out similar improvements independently

 

Candidate can live anywhere in the US. 

Travel is 100%

 

Job Requirements

Previous experience implementing and managing Microsoft Dynamics AX projects is a requirement for this role and ONLY candidates with Microsoft Dynamics AX will be contacted for interviews.

 

Required Skills:

  • Fundamental understanding of Microsoft Dynamics AX
  • Expert knowledge of features, configuration and support of AX
  • Experience with installation/configuration base components of AX:  user groups, security, connections to databases, etc.
  • Thorough understanding of Microsoft Dynamics AX functionality
  • Knowledge of core application functionality
  • Knowledge of specific functionality, such as the AX manufacturing module
  • Solid understanding of the AX technology stack
  • Comprehensive knowledge of related technologies:  Microsoft SQL Server database, Exchange, .NET, SharePoint Services, BizTalk Server
  • Ability to prepare and conduct business process analysis
  • Ability to create and develop design specifications
  • Ability to set up applications for gap/fit analysis
  • General knowledge of how to conduct gap/fit analysis
  • Experience in modeling business processes
  • Thorough knowledge of planning and implementation of AX system tests to ensure that functionality, configuration and data are as expected
  • Ability to configure the live AX environment

 

Good understanding of all major activities for a business system implementation like analysis, design, development, deployment. Soft Skills
