Teach English in Korea, Bachelor Degree Holders from All Industries Qualify

 

ESL-Park is one of the largest human resource providers for private academies in Korea. We represent the four largest private academies in Korea. All of our consultants are bi-lingual, have prior teaching experience, and have a firm understanding of the immigration laws of Korea. In addition, being based in Seoul, Korea we are able to provide continued assistance to you throughout the duration of you time here in South Korea. ESL-Park will provide job placement and assistance with obtaining your visa sponsorship at no cost.

Position Overview

 

·             Working hours: 9:30am to 6:30pm or 2pm to 10pm

·             Students: Kindergarten to Junior High School

·             Class size about 6 to 12 students

·             Classes will be 50 minutes

·             Subjects: Grammar, Reading Comprehension, Vocabulary, Debating and

              Conversation

·             A typical day will consist of 4 to 6 classes, each class will be 50 minutes long.

·             There is a ten minute break in between each class.

·             The time you are at the school before your classes begin will be utilized to

              prep for your lessons and also perform your administrative duties.

 

 

 

Responsibilities

 

·             Instruct students in academic subjects using a variety of techniques

·             Employ special educational strategies and techniques

·             Teach socially acceptable behavior

·             Meet with parents and guardians to discuss progress and determine priorities

·             Maintain accurate student records

 

 

 

Benefits

 

·             Salary $27,000 to $33,000 annually

·             Single furnished housing

·             Prepaid Roundtrip airfare, Airport pick up

·             Ten paid vacation days, 15 national holidays

·             Bonus equivalent to one month’s salary upon completion of the contract

 

 

 

 


Job Requirements 

 

 

 

Bachelor of Art or Science from an accredited university
Native English speaker (first language is English)
A citizen of USA, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand

Able to commit to a one year contract

Hold a valid passport

No criminal record

Clean bill of health
