Marketing Specialist

The Marketing Specialist owns the responsibility of initiating contact into the business environment to generate lead opportunities for our customer base. This position is centered on the ability to build product awareness, gather relevant data, and uncover potential sales opportunities. The MCS places calls to target companies to identify appropriate decision makers and other key players within an organization. The purpose of these calls is to engage target decision makers in a dialog to capture data for market analysis and gauge an interest in future purchasing.

The Ideal Candidate:
• Possesses excellent communication skills, including use of proper pronunciation, diction, and tense, and the ability to converse with various gatekeepers involved in permitting access to decision makers.
• Has advanced computer skills as well as the ability to multi-task by utilizing the phone, PC, internet, and email to capture data accurately and efficiently.
• Is willing to learn about new industries and technologies and gain a working knowledge of necessary terminology.
• Has a genuine interest in marketing, including marketing trends and strategies, business development, and outcome measurements.
• Is highly professional, energetic, dedicated and goal-oriented.
