Description Purpose:
Tribune Media Services, a division of Tribune Company is a national leader in entertainment data, content and promotion services. TMS reaches 100+ million consumers through more than 4,000 customers in 40 countries through print, online and mobile media.

This position will be responsible for the post-sales implementation and account coordination for the TMS Branded Media Network, Blender, mobile and other direct account delivery of content. Equally as important, is the ability to coordinate and execute marketing messages to desired prospects as directed by News & Features Sales and Marketing. Position also requires maintenance of account activity and profile via a dashboard style online account management system.

Responsibilities:

Communicate and coordinate post –sales customer implementation activities as directed by sales staff.

Execute various sales and marketing plans and messages via Branded Media site, overall TMS account list and through social media sites as warranted.

Create various documentation related to implementation process to ensure consistency and to share with future prospects during sales recruitment process.

Manage and maintain TMS Branded Media Network “Dashboard” to facilitate the effectiveness the Media Network and manage the details of their revenue share and the TMS branded apps for each account site.

Conduct all post-sales analysis on implementation and coordination between account and TMS implementation staff.

Execute sales/marketing strategies and messages to drive Network recruitment efforts and to build awareness of the various TMS Branded Media Network content applications.

Use Sales Force to follow through on all sales accounts, reporting on progress and to maintain overall customer database for market/territory assignment.

Manage all technical documentation associated with account implementation across various TMS content sites.

Conduct web-based site registrations or telephone training sessions for various TMS content sites, and coordinate activity with any user groups created.

Communicate with various TMS business partners, internal operations/editorial to deliver products and services to customers in assigned territory.

Effectively communicate and coordinate custom feature development of TMS Branded Content Apps and other current and future technological developments.

Research and respond to customer questions relating to billing or revenue share arrangements.

Demo TMS content platforms and features sites to end prospects and register active accounts onto each site as needed.

Stay current on new media technology, including Internet, mobile and alternative platforms (e.g., eReader), and technology-driven distribution and marketing methods and communicate to and serve as a resource for News & Features staff on advances and developments.


Requirements:

3-5 years customer implementation/technical/internet background
Proficient in MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint); knowledge of Salesforce.com a plus.
Knowledge of XHTML; CSS; Javascript and Flash for customer implementation activities
Knowledge of Internet advertising and CPM revenue share programs a plus.
Good understanding of the technology and operational requirements of running web online/ad networks.
Must adapt quickly and easily to learning new computer systems and partner platforms
Detail-oriented, creative, customer focused, and fiscally responsible.
Excellent consultative approach to problem-solving desired
High energy, enthusiasm, initiative, and ability to function independently
Proven ability to develop exceptional client relationships
Excellent communication skills (via telephone and online demo and training)
Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines for multiple tasks
Proven ability to implement plans and to proactively make things happen
Good business judgment and instincts
