Description:
The position of Sales Agent will be responsible for assisting USAgencies’ current and potential customers in the administration of their insurance policies through a variety of media including but not limited to: telephone, e-mail, fax, etc. The candidate must have excellent sales and customer service skills, a clear speaking voice, and the ability to work any schedule within the time frame designated by USAgencies Management.
Job Responsibilities:
- Quote/prospect insurance applications for clients
- Sell policies to exceed production goals
- Attempt to cross-sell EVERY prospect that comes into contact
- Resolving all customer requests competently including quotes, endorsements, renewals, new policies, payments, claims intake, and general insurance questions
- Correctly and thoroughly updating the customer’s account and all relevant information in USAgencies call tracking system
- Complete a detail fact finder form for EACH new customer and ask for referrals
- Use Quote Script as developed by the company
- Provide exceptional Customer Service to USAgencies customers through all relevant avenues of contact
- Attend monthly & quarterly sales meetings, sales and product seminars or classes
- Ability to handle large amounts of cash, checks, etc
- Service walk-in customers
- Receive & service customer phone calls
- Handling customer service inquiries by phone & in Person
- Continue to learn product & underwriting detail of various sales products for additional sales opportunities and for professional development
- Provide office coverage at locations throughout the district.
- Other duties as assigned (including providing tax services during tax season)
