Job Description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

 

  • 5+ years of Sales experience selling contracts ranging over $2 million dollars
  • Industry experience selling Performance Contracts and ESCO Energy Services
  • Experience selling to Publically funded institutions (Hospitals, Schools, Government)
  • Conceptual Sales experience - Ability to educate clients on opportunities to pursue
  • Maintaining Long terms industry relationships
  • Familiarity with utilizing a CRM tool such as Salesforce.com is required

Sales Representatives are tasked with cultivating new business through building long-term relationships with professional clients, collaborating with engineers and delivering solid financial solutions for customers’ facility needs.  This position integrates all aspects of the sales process - from prospecting and pre-qualifying potential clients to calculating cost estimates, preparing and delivering presentations, creating proposals and ultimately closing the sale.

 

The ideal candidate will have been in a sales role, preferably having sold performance contracting services.  Candidates that have been successful in a conceptual sales or service sales role will be considered.  To be successful in this position you must have the ability to relate to internal and external clients at all levels, and to communicate both on a technical and non-technical basis.  Excellent initiative, interpersonal and organizational communication skills are expected.
