Specific responsibilities will include:

This position will be working closely with a senior DBA.  It is for someone with demonstrated experience with high level system design, data modeling, generation and tuning of PL/SQL.  Minimum 5 years of Oracle application development experience high level of system design, data modeling, DDL, generation and tuning of PL/SQL.  Must posses database administration skills also.  Excellent knowledge of SQL required.  Experience in business analysis and familiarity with business processes and terminology.

Requirements Required Skills: BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience. The candidate must possess the following technical experience: • Minimum requirements include at least 5 years of full time experience with ETL tools and processes in a scientific or technical environment. • Strong experience with Informatica PowerCenter for ETL development, Informatica PowerCenter performance tuning and optimization, data profiling, data quality and change data capture (CDC). • Strong database query and performance tuning abilities. • Most possess advanced SQL programming skills using Oracle. • A demonstrated ability to learn and acquire new technologies as needed. Desired Skills: • Minimum 5 years experience with Oracle and 3 years experience using SQL. • Experience with database modeling and design. • Experience with Object-Oriented methodologies, and Test First Development. • Agile Programming. • Experience using Pentaho Data Integration (Kettle) Open Source tool. • Working knowledge of designing and implementing Data Marts and Operational Data store (ODS) in Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW). • Understanding of Informatica PowerCenter architecture, Informatica PowerCenter Administration and repository maintenance is a plus. • General knowledge of Business Intelligence and reporting strategies is a plus. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are highly desired.
