Description
Incumbent has responsibility and accountability for performing analysis on new and existing online marketing campaigns in all critical areas of the sales cycle. The Online Marketing Analyst also assists in implementing online improvements to the offline channel. Ensures all Ascend One policies and procedures are adhered to in exercising the responsibilities of the job. A PC and telephone are used extensively in performing the essential functions of the job.
Manages the daily bidding for search engine relationships.
Analyzes and evaluates the return on investment of various online relationships.
Established and maintains effective working relationships with outside media sellers. Works with the media sellers and the Director of Online Advertising to optimize new as well as existing online marketing campaigns.
Develops and implements recommendations to improve user response rates and conversions.
Performs analysis of the debt relief, mortgage and expense management industry segments.
Prepares online marketing campaign reports for senior management.
Monitors and projects monthly online media spending.
Performs various administrative responsibilities related to managing online partnerships such as: day-to- day communications, reviewing invoices, making new creative requests, and setting up unique campaigns.
Participates in meetings with the Internet process team to understand future goals as well as challenges of the online channel.
Keeps abreast of new marketing developments through contacts with professional organizations, publications and vendors. Maintains an awareness of what is happening in the online promotional industry.
Supports the affiliate program, including assisting with and/or performing the following responsibilities: maintaining affiliate software, approving of new applications, keeping in contact with top affiliates, motivate affiliates to promote our company and products, providing updates to affiliate advertisers, recruiting affiliates into the program, tracking sales made by affiliates, tracking sales/sending commission checks, utilizing appropriate pricing structure, carefully monitoring affiliates to prevent fraud and violations (such as email spam, search engine spam, adware, trademark bidding, etc.)
Performs other related duties as may be required.
Requirements
Knowledge of contact center business environment desired.
Familiarity with state-of-the-art online technologies is required.
Knowledge of competition and industry happenings is required.
Strong understanding of online deal structures is preferred.
Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and the Internet is essential.
Excellent data and statistical analysis skills are required.
Good planning, coordinating, project management, and problem resolution skills required.
Understanding of basic accounting to be used in monitoring budgetary expenses.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills including the ability to write reports are required.
Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to establish and maintain highly effective work relationships with internal and external clientele, e.g. management, staff, vendors, and agencies.
Demonstrated ability to work in a continually changing, fast-paced environment with an entrepreneurial management culture is essential.
Ability to work harmoniously in a cross-functional team work environment and to manage multiple and changing demands with diplomacy, speed, accuracy, and within deadlines is required.
Proven ability to manage monthly spending on a daily basis across multiple channels.
Ability to create break-even analysis, NPV and IRR
Ability to work with minimal direction and monitor own workflow is critical while meeting deadline is critical.
Ability to recognize and maintain confidentiality of information.
Bachelor's degree in relevant field, which provides a strong focus on analysis and data management is required.
At least four years prior experience in a marketing or similar environment, with a concentration in financial analysis.
Experience managing expenses in a complex budget preferred.
Prior search engine marketing experience a plus.
Other relevant education and/or experience may be substituted.
