  • 7-10+ years experience in the ESCO industry - Retrofits and NOT new construction
  • Mechanical Systems (HVAC, MEP, etc..) experience
  • Experience developing performance contract projects
  • Project Management skills – Scope, Estimates, etc
  • Leadership skills and ability to mentor less experienced engineers
 

Job Requirements

Our client is looking for an Engery Solutions Development Engineer. The Energy Solutions Development Engineer will be in a position to lead, plan, organize and participate in performing preliminary and detailed project development audits of basic and intermediate level performance contracting projects.  The selected individual will also be responsible for directing the methodologies of performing energy savings calculations and identifying any risk associated with the projections.  Additionally, this person will review savings projections to ensure plausibility and identify any financial risk, lead the effort in defining project scope and performing project estimates and review and ensure project estimates are accurate and the project scope is executable within the budget. 

 

This individual will prepare technical audit reports and will work with the sales team to strategize the sale of a project.  They may also be asked to assist the sales team with sales presentations.  To perform this job successfully, an individual must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and possess the ability to solicit input from others while influencing and persuading internal and external customers to listen effectively.  This position also offers the opportunity to mentor and train junior engineers
