Assistant Branch Manager Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Demonstrate outstanding customer service and achieve both customer satisfaction and retention Demonstrate knowledge and enthusiasm about Woodforest bank products and services while talking to both customers and potential customers Participate in all aspects of branch performance and growth, including profit and loss management Manage and participate in the daily operations of the branch; working opposite schedules of the Branch Manager to ensure adequate management coverage Participate in and make recommendations regarding the hiring and development of an effective team Make recommendations regarding employment, advancement, promotion and termination of branch employees Participate in the coaching of employees in all aspects of sales, service and operations Responsible for contributing to branch goals by implementing plans and programs formulated by management Develop and cultivate strategic relationships with business partners Proficient in all policies, procedures and bank regulations pertaining to branch operations Analyze customer's needs and assist in the selection of appropriate products and services Make lending decisions for customers whose accounts are overdrawn Participate in community activities in order to foster and develop customer relationships Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling to ensure coverage All other duties as assigned
Education High school diploma or equivalent Experience 2 years banking or 2 years supervisory experience in a customer service environment May substitute a Bachelors degree for 1 year of banking or supervisory experience May substitute 1 year experience on the Woodforest New Branch Opening Team for all other experience
