Helpdesk Support-ADA, OK (Job #9682)

Description Smartsource is looking for a Helpdesk/Entry level supporto tech to work full time in Ada, OK with a growing and stable company.

On-site/Helpdesk PC TECH
Location: Ada, OK
When: Starting As soon as Possible.
Pay: $23,000 with benefits for entry level position.
Full time with benefits, 401K, Health and they pay for certifications and end of the year bonus based on company profits.
Nice friendly environment and been in business for 25 years, and grown 75% in the past 3 years.

Job Responsibilities:

The on-call technician takes all incoming technical support calls.
Our receptionist answers the phone and if it is a customer with a support issue, she then creates a computerized service ticket. That call is then forwarded to the on-call technician and he tries to resolve the issue remotely. If he can’t, then I assign a technician to go on-site to fix the problem. A large majority of the support problems can be "fixed" without ever going on-site, so the on-call technician needs to have good people skills, good troubleshooting skills and must document all work he/she did to "fix" the problem. The documentation is used to determine the next step or, if the support issue is completed, then the ticket is invoiced based on the technician’s documentation. This is an 8-5 job with an hour for lunch.

This person will work on computers in the office. We have a small amount of "walk-in" customers that require virus removal and the on-call technician works on these computers. This person also sets up new workstations to be taken on-site for projects.
