Primary Function:
Responsible for the operational and financial performance of the Automation Division by directing production, sourcing, distribution, pricing, sales, marketing, product development, engineering and field service functions.
Principle Activities:
- Ensure that all aspects of the operation are conducted in accordance with policies, principles, and procedures.
- Special focus on providing the resources, direction and leadership for the sales, pricing, marketing, and product development functions.
- Meet or exceed the financial operating budgets/estimates set for Automation Division.
- Develop the talent the Automation Division needs to expand and grow as a business.
- Develop both single and multi-year strategic plans and insure successful completion of the targets and deliverables.
- Ensure new Automation products and systems are being developed cost effectively for the future applications based on sound market analyses.
- Insure the Automation Division strategies are communicated to and consistent with other operating units of the company.
- Special projects as assigned.
