Description

This is a unique opportunity to join a growing investment firm.  The company is looking for a Business Analyst who can design and develop strategic CRM solutions for their Sales and Marketing Analytics team.   In this role you will manage and monitor the CRM System (Salesforce), analyze reporting success and work with senior management and business area to recommned strategic uses for available data with regard to business intelligence and competitive analysis. 

 

This position will work with internal and external business partners to design a model for CRM Reporting strategy and systems.   By integrating a deep understanding of available products and strategic business direction, this position will develop business plans, drive product development and ensure the alignment of product strategy with overall corporate goals.  In this role you will be afforded a great deal of visibility and the opportunity to interface with senior management in focusing on the most important issues facing the business.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:   

-       Work with business areas and senior management to understand business needs and requirements.

-     Conduct market research, gather business intelligence and competitive analysis and present findings to Senior Management.

·        Work with Product Management, Marketing, Operations, Sales and Service and Competitive Intelligence to design an integrated strategy for product offerings.

·        Coordinate the goal setting and budgeting process with Finance and Sales

·        Interface with internal clients and senior management to determine appropriate courses of action and translate them into strategic initiatives.

·       Evaluate program data and develop metrics outlining success and recommend enhancements for improvement  

-     Drive CRM Reporting requirements definition, planning and design of new features and  tools.  Work closely with designers, developers, analysts and quality assurance testers to bring these enhancements and changes live to the business areas.

-     Manage these features across the lifetime of the service, including post-deployment evaluations to ensure feature performance and stability.

-     Collaborate with Project Managers on site schedules and priorities

-     Manage the QA process from the business side to ensure CRm data integrity.

-     Maintain deep understanding of industry and competitor activities and new CRM strategies and tools

 

Requirements

-  A 4 year degree in finance, marketing or related area is required.  Advanced degree is a plus.

-   5-7 years investment banking/brokerage experience

-   Experience developing business and design requirements documentation

-   Keen knowledge of systems development best practices and the product management lifecycle

-  Solid background in reporting including databases and spreadsheets.

-  Solid experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, macros and Access).  Salesforce experience a plus.

-   Strong management skills; organized, extremely high attention to detail, able to manage multiple time-sensitive projects

-  Strategic thinker with demonstrated success managing priorities and personalities in cross-functional teams

-  Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

-  Fast learner with a passion for technology and design
