Description

Malcolm Meats, the Midwest’s leading processor of precision cut beef, pork, lamb and veal is seeking an experienced sales professional to promote our brand in the Indianapolis, Cincinnati and Louisville, Kentucky areas.

 

The candidate must employ a strong working knowledge of the various cuts of meat utilized by the food service industry.  Being able to work with existing customers as well as developing new sales professionals is a key to the success of this individual. This role involves ongoing business-to-business interaction with the distributor, as well as face-to-face interaction with the end customer. 

 

A salary, bonus and expense program will be designed for this individual commensurate with the experience level displayed.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Requirements

Skills Required:

  • Strong communication/interaction skills.
  • Exceptional level of negotiation skills and ability to close a deal.
  • Out-of-the box thinker.
  • Detail-oriented
  • Customer-service mentality.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve problems.
  • Basic mathematical and financial knowledge.
