You may have heard about some of our products. We design and build starter motors, alternators, engines and fuel systems. We sell globally the "Delco Remy®" brand name (first used in 1918), the "World Wide Automotive" brand name (first used in 1986), and our customers' widely recognized private label brand names.

- Provide technical assistance and advice to customers concerning testing, installation, troubleshooting, and unit operation.
- Demonstrate and discuss with the customer the benefits of education and coaching of their store personnel using Remy Power Products’ methodologies and literature.
- Develop, with customer, training schedules for individual stores and, on a broader scale, divisions and regions.
- Ensure that the customer understands their cost of warranty at both individual stores and regional levels.
- Maintain comprehensive customer activity reports for Remy Power Products and customer inspection.
- Provide detailed warranty reports which highlight actions that may need to be taken by other Customer Regions and Remy internal departments.
- Assist with local commercial blitzes to increase sales volumes.
- Maintain regular communications with Remy Customer Quality, Sales & Marketing, Engineering, and other Remy Power Products support groups.
- Ensure that all customers are aware of resources available to them at Remy Power Products Technical Support and Field Training Departments.
- Follow and support any customer specific policies or procedures.
- Related terms: Warranty Reduction, Customer Service, Auto Repair, Mechanic, Sales, Automotive parts, aftermarket, OEM
- Associate's degree in Automotive Mechanics or related field. 3-7 years related experience is required.
- Professional manner which is in keeping with the responsibility of the position and the image of Remy Power Products.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English and Spanish is preferred.
- Ability to travel at short notice and to work in remote locations for extended periods of time.
- Ability to communication effectively and deal diplomatically with customers, end users and employees.
- Ability to work in an unstructured environment and be self-directed
