Description To provide both a variety of routine and non-routine patient care to psychiatric patients. Responsible for conducting or assisting in the development of nursing assessments and nursing plans and providing direct care as outlined in the nursing plans. May supervise paraprofessional nursing staff and assisting or supervising less experienced professional nursing staff. May serve as charge nurse on assigned shift. Work is performed independently in carrying out the care and treatment program indicated for each patient according to instructions and established nursing standards and procedures.

NOTE: THIS JOB IS PHYSICALLY LOCATED IN COLUMBIA, MO.

Requirements Possession of a current Missouri license to practice as a Registered Nurse is necessary. Must possess current American Heart Association BLS for HCP [CPR] card. Must have one-year recent acute care or related experience.
