Due to growth, Panda Group is seeking General Managers.
Duties:
- Provides operations expertise and manages performance of unit support staff Work is reviewed by area/regional management upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives
- Interprets and executes policies and procedures that typically affect unit managed
- Responsible for achieving the unit’s sales and profit goals
- Ensures maximum employee productivity and work quality for assigned unit, provides work assignments and manages unit staff performance
- Ensures that all menu items are prepared, portioned, and presented in a clean, safe and sanitary manner
- Manages and executes all duties pertaining to unit staff recruitment, training and retention
- Assumes responsibility for cash, assets, profits and losses of unit managed
- Implements marketing programs; ensures new products are rolled out according to standards
- Applies thorough knowledge of all policies, procedures and practices utilized within unit managed
- Understands ways in which unit relates to and impacts PRG
- Demonstrates knowledge of PRG operations and objectives
- Seeks information regarding trends affecting food service industry
- Interacts with customers, unit staff, and Area and/or Regional management
- Interactions normally involve exchange or presentation of information relating to daily operations and unit and/or area performance
- Develops sound and effective solutions to issues and problems
- Accurately identifies issues affecting unit managed and improves processes to resolve short- and long-term problems
- Ensures customer expectations are exceeded by continuously assessing customer needs and developing options to meet those needs
