Description
Quality Supervisor
Client Company is an international consumer product manufacturer. Our client is looking to fill a Quality Supervisor position for their plant in the Southeast.
The Quality Supervisor position requires displayed ability to effectively plan and organize available resources is needed for this position. Successful candidate will have a strong lean manufacturing background and familiar with USDA-approved practices and regulatory agencies in regards to inspecting equipment and building grounds.
The ideal candidate has prior management experience and an equivalent degree and should be highlighted in your resume. A BS Engineering degree or related field is required. Certification in HACCP/Proper use of Chemicals is a strong plus
Looking for candidates with a high energy level, strong people skills and interpersonal/communication skills for this great opportunity.
Requirements
Preferred Areas of Expertise:
- Professional knowledge and experience organizing and directing the quality efforts throughout a manufacturing facility
- USDA-approved sanitation practices in regards to inspecting equipment and building grounds
- BS Engineering or related technical field and prior supervision experience
- Certification in HACCP/Proper use of Chemicals
- At least 3 years experience in Quality Supervision
- A strong record of personal accomplishments and some supervisory experience i.e. project engineering, personal mgmt. and excellent analytical and communication skills
