Job Description 

Express Employment Professionals is looking for a passionate Customer Service Team Lead.

 

Customer Service Team Lead assists in the supervision of the resourced of the Customer Service Department and is responsible for the overall performance of this his/her team. The Customer Service Team Lead is also responsible for resolving complex customer issues and bringing them to a satisfactory resolution. Supervises 3 or more employees.

 

Job Function:

  • Assists in ensuring policy holders receive accurate information regarding policy features and benefits in a timely manner
  • Assists in the resolution of advanced policy holder issues in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Responsible for maintaining documentation per the departmental policies and procedures as well as organization policies and procedures
  • Assists department manager in the planning for the use of materials and human resource
  • Responsible for initial and on-going training of supervised employees
  • Assists supervised employees with daily questions and activities
  • Accountable for the accuracy of the reports prepared by his/hers team to the Contact Center Manager
  • Provides additional phone support to cover for absences
  • Reinforces the goals and objectives set firth by the Contact Center Manager and Senior Management Team to supervised employees
  • Ability to Multi Task

  • Positive Attitude, willing to work with others
 


Job Requirements 

Preferred:                                                                       

Medical Terminology and Health Insurance Knowledge

 

Required Qualifications:

Property & Casualty license-working towards the ACSR or CISR designation preferred

Minimum 3 years experience in insurance customer service related field

Minimum 2 years experience in a supervisory roll

Experience with insurance policy terms and account documentation

Ability to interpret policy coverage to policy holders

Experience with policy endorsements and billing

Experience assisting customers with claims resolution

Computer experience with Microsoft Office

 

This is an evaluation to hire position with regular business hours.

Pay is $13.00-$16.00 DOE

 

There are occasionally dogs and other animals in the office.
