Guardian Healthcare Providers is currently looking for a Physical Therapist to work in a long term rehab care facility. These opportunities will help patients develop, maintain and restore maximum movement. It will involve the provision of service in circumstances where movements and/or functions are impaired by the aging process, injury or disease. Your interactions will involve clients, families and care givers to assess movement potential and establish goals and objectives using your knowledge and skills. Typical services include:
- Screening and evaluating patients.
- Delivering a full range of assessments and treatment plans including therapeutic application of physical and chemical agents and exercise to maximize functional independence.
- Establishing objectives and documenting progress of identified objectives.
- Conducting patient education and counseling.
- Promoting and maintaining health, quality of life, and fitness in all ages and populations.
