Medallion Staffing has an immediate need for a
RESTAURANT GM for our Richmond-area client, who is a Fortune 500 world leader in providing professional services for the food and beverage industry. This position is a direct hire, full-time permanent position based out of one of the client’s Richmond-area locations. Annual salary to be based on experience and qualifications, and this client also offers an excellent benefits package. Relocation assistance is available.
DUTIES:
· Manage a restaurant (of over 100 employees) by directing and coordinating front & back of house operations/processes.
· Responsible for the operation of a dining room as well as establishing quality and performance standards.
· Responsible for hiring, staffing, scheduling, and training of personnel.
· Overseeing daily performance of an hourly staff and for customer service.
· Total financial responsibility to include daily sales and labor recaps.
· Maintain labor cost, food cost, and supply cost within allocated budgets.
· Monitor menu cycles and recommend changes based on cost acceptability.
· Submit weekly variance reports with explanations of shortfalls.
· Implement and maintain sales/marketing programs.
· Establish small wares inventory process, address any large variance, and develop/implement corrective action plans to reduce future variances.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
- 5+ years of restaurant management experience.
- Strong GM background with a medium-scale chain.
- Certification is preferred but not required).
- Must be flexible for 10-hour shifts during am or pm, includes many evenings and weekends.
- Ability to manage in a diverse environment with focus on client and customer services.
- P&L accountability experience is a plus.
- Contract-managed service experience is a plus.
- Must pass the criminal background check.
