MetLife Bank, a subsidiary of MetLife Inc is hiring Reverse Mortgage Sales Consultants to market reverse mortgages to the senior community. This dynamic industry has been growing at a rate of more than 40% per year.
As a result of our aggressive expansion program, we are seeking Reverse Mortgage Sales Consultants to become part of our winning team.
All reverse mortgage consultants are required to be primarily engaged in the sales of reverse mortgage products; primarily self generated business. This is a virtual office position with customer/client focus within an assigned territory.
Daily activities include:
- Meeting with seniors to advise them on how our financial products may meet their financial needs
- Building a professional referral network
- Administering your territory's marketing program
- Making group presentations to financial professionals and senior groups
- Following-up on leads both self-generated and company provided
- Participating in all activities required to bring a loan to closing
The successful candidate will be a self-starter, goal focused, patient, and ethical Reverse Mortgage Sales Consultant who want to maximize their career potential.
Requirements
- At least 1 year experience consistently closing 2 loans a month minimum (Reverse Mortgage Loans) no exceptions
- Must have excellent written communication and interpersonal skills
- Successful completion of reverse mortgage originator training is required
- Strong computer proficiency and experience with contact management software
- All reverse mortgage consultants are required to be primarily engaged in the sales of reverse mortgage products virtually (work from home)
