Description
Operations Manager
Our client, a global leader in the medical device industry, is looking to hire an Operations Manager for their Greenville, SC location. This position reports directly to the Business Unit Manager and supervises the production area. Our client company has a very stable and growing environment, non-union, excellent growth potential and benefits as well as steadily hiring for the past year.
The ideal candidate for this position will have professional knowledge and experience with the medical device/pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, effective management skills, planning, supervision, administration, associate relations, and an FDA background in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
The Operations Manager does require a BS Engineering or related technical field and a minimum of 5 years operations management experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
Proficient skills with SAP, lean manufacturing, injection molding and developing & managing departmental budgets all strongly desired. Looking for candidates with a high energy level, strong multi-tasking and communication skills for this great opportunity!
Requirements
Preferred Areas of Expertise:
- A BS Engineering or related technical degree
- A minimum of 5 years operations management experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing industry
- Familiarity with SAP software
- Solid knowledge of injection molding and lean manufacturing
- Exceptional communication skills and multi-tasking skills
