Job Summary:

Region 1 Regional Director of Finance will be responsible for implementing CCi Financial Aid policies at new campuses. Additionally, the Region 1 RDOF will be involved with the hiring and training of campus Directors of Student Finance, Student Finance Planners and Student Finance Representatives. Also, under administrative direction, this position manages and supports the campus level financial aid and accounts receivable operations to ensure compliance with company requirements, policies and procedures, federal regulations and established Division goals and objectives. This position serves as a liaison with related corporate leadership in finance and operations.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manages and coordinates the training development for campus Directors of Student Finance as well as SFPs and SFRs.
  • Works closely with the campus personnel to implement all CCI policy and procedure for Student Finance and cash management.
  • Will have working understanding of CampusVue (can be developed during first months in the position).
  • Manages campus student finance operations with an assigned region to ensure compliance with company objectives and state and federal regulations.
  • Maintains regional bad debt results within established Division goals and objectives. Monitors campus collection activities of outstanding student accounts to ensure timely recovery of payments and maintain appropriate accounts receivable levels.
  • Manages the financial aid process to ensure the quality processing of student files and proper processing of federal funds in accordance with federal regulations. Ensures processing levels meet company goals and objectives.
  • Implements, monitors and enforces corporate financial policies and procedures. Provides updates of financial aid and credit and collection policies and procedures through regional teleconferences, site visits and training.
  • Directs internal controls for cash management to ensure appropriate cash flow levels and compliance with 90/10 standards.
  • Provides ongoing financial analysis of current operations in order to make strategic recommendations to local or regional administration, as well as, related Division leadership in finance and operations.
  • Identifies, analyzes and implements solutions and procedural changes to increase operational efficiencies and effectiveness to the accounts receivable and financial aid reporting processes, while meeting established levels of performance.
  • Assists with personnel actions, including recruiting, new hire actions, interviewing and selection of new staff, and staff reviews.

 

 


Job Requirements 

  • A Bachelor's degree is required.

  • Willing to travel up to 75% within assigned territories.

  • Must have 3–5 years of experience managing a campus student finance process within a proprietary school environment.
  • Must have 3–5 years of experience supervising and managing staff to effectively monitor and develop subordinates to ensure smooth campus financial operations and performance.
  • Must have 3–5 years of experience managing, monitoring and enforcing administrative and financial policies and procedures.
  • Must have a thorough knowledge of accounting practices within a business office.
  • Must have 3–5 years of experience with management of Title IV programs to ensure campus compliance with corporate objectives and federal regulations.
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral formats to perform all functions related to this position.
  • Must have working knowledge of student financial software and systems to effectively manage campus financial processes in support of Financial Aid and Accounts Receivable Management.
  • Must have the ability to analyze and interpret financial data/reports in order to make recommendations regarding strategic planning and campus performance. Computer skills are a must.
