Description
Role Definition:
This position is responsible for developing new client relationships, presenting timely/professional sales presentations and meeting or exceeding monthly data revenue objectives. The Enterprise Data Specialist will also be expected to create a proactive and positive image in the territory served to maintain and grow existing customer base and revenue.
Dimension:
1. Customer retention and line objectives in ILEC assigned territories.
2. Effective utilization of company assets:(i.e. car, computer, etc).
3. New customer data acquisition.
Organizational Relationships:
1. This individual will report to the VP of Sales.
2. The Enterprise Data Specialist will interact with other account managers and indirect sales personnel as needed to meet referral and sales objectives.
3. As issues arise, this incumbent will interact with all departments within the company as required to meet business and customer needs.
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Demonstrates functional knowledge required to perform work responsibilities.
2. Holds self-accountable for completing tasks/projects or achieving established performance objectives and contributing to team success.
3. Builds constructive working relationships with individuals on other teams.
4. Takes responsibility to ensure customer satisfaction despite time pressures or apparent obstacles.
5. Achieve quarterly revenue objectives.
6. Maintain activity information on a daily, weekly and monthly basis including but not limited to customer information, expenses, mileage, etc
7. Attend city functions, service organization committees, and non-profit organizations within your territory that will have a positive impact on meeting short and long-term objectives.
8. Other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications:
A. Education:
Minimum:
High school education or specialized technical knowledge and 3-5 years sales experience across a wide spectrum of voice and data products and services.
Desired:
Bachelor’s degree with a business or marketing emphasis.
(Equivalent work experience can be accepted in lieu of education).
B. Required Work Experience:
1. Proven face-to-face sales or sales support experience of at least 3 years, meeting and exceeding sales performance objectives.
2. Demonstrated ability to meet the expectations of customers.
3. Demonstrated sales account management experience.
4. High level of sales business skills and knowledge in corporate, technical, product and competitive areas.
