Sales Manager

Client:

 This company is a leading maker of salad dressings and vegetable dips along with organic and other low fat products.  Products are sold mostly through grocery retailers and warehouse clubs accross the US and Canda.  The company also supplies dressings and other products to foodservice distributors and restaurant operators. 

Sales Manager:

 
Customize and execute customer specific programs and plans, colectively with the Business Management team to achieve volume, revenue, profit, market share and brand.  Carry out and execute corporate Business-equity objectives for the territory.  Create, nuture and strengthen market share and brand equity objectives, relationships and communication with our broker partners and customers.  Strategically and collectively with both business management team and broker partners develop plans to grow ACV and brand equity.  Understand and communicate the competitive activity within the local market (be the eyes & ears for the company). 

Required Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree in business, marketing or related field OR equivalent experience
• Some type of experience in the food industry is preferred but not required
• 5-15 years of PROVEN work experience  
• Broker management experience
• Must be competitive, enthusiastic and customer focused
• Must have the ability to develop and execute plans to grow sales and market share
• Must have superior communication and relationship building skills
