QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Has completed training and a competence evaluation program or a competency evaluation approved by the State and holds a current certificate from the State of Texas.
2. Must be enrolled in a competency training program approved by the State and perform only services of a type for which he/she has demonstrated competence.
3. Personality attuned to the requirements of meeting needs of the infirm and aged.
4. Demonstrates competency in skills and techniques necessary to care for residents' needs as identified through Resident Assessment and described in the Plan of Care.
