Electrical Staff Engineer - Shaw Industries

Currently we have an opportunity available for an Electrical Staff Engineer in Dalton, GA.

This position will be responsible for all phases of projects that are often multi-disciplined, complex, and major in scope; requiring close coordination with manufacturing, other corporate staff departments, and outside agencies. Under limited direction, the Engineer will provide advisory and troubleshooting services, feasibility studies, project scope development, and capital budgets to install the required capacity. This role is instrumental in leading and managing contractors and vendors throughout the construction and startup phases of projects.

Job Requirements: B.S. in Electrical Engineering; experience in the design, specification, and installation of industrial power and control wiring systems; thorough understanding of the National Electric Code; Capital Project management experience; and excellent technical writing skills for producing equipment and repair specifications, project reports, and communications with external suppliers. This position requires travel throughout the U.S.
