Corporate Education Liaison

Join the premier provider of adult education consulting services and make a difference in the lives of others!   Business Development Specialists are responsible for networking with local businesses, colleges and organizations, representing the university partner at local events, and enhancing relationships with key decision makers in order to generate adult student leads and appropriately position the college/university in the market.  This career is professionally and personally rewarding as you help others achieve a better future through education. The Institute for Professional Development (IPD), a subsidiary of Apollo Group, Inc, founded in 1973, is a higher education development and management corporation. The primary mission of IPD is to assist accredited private colleges and universities in expanding and diversifying their academic offerings and student population base through the development of quality academic degree programs designed to meet the educational needs of working adults.

 

We are currently seeking an assertive, well organized individual to establish and build presence in the marketplace for adult degree programs at a local, private college/university.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and monitor a strategic plan to generate corporate and student leads.
  • Develop productive community and corporate relationships through effective phone, email and face-to-face communication.
  • Conduct individual and group consultative sales presentations.
  • Monitor and manage corporate contact database.
Job Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal communication skills, be goal oriented and practice strong organizational skills and exhibit a positive attitude.
