Private Wealth Management/Tax Consultant - CPA

Description Who's growing 20% a year in this economy?   Our client is!  They are a very successful, professional, fee based private wealth management and tax strategy firm based in Bergen County.  Their unique mix of investment, tax and risk/insurance management enable them to provide full service wealth, risk and asset preservation consulting to their clients.   They are seeking a motivated, entrepreneurial professional to join their team and develop a long term career. In addition to providing investment portfolio management based on extensive market research and analysis, this diverse, exciting role will be responsible for tax planning strategy and compliance; estate planning and insurance risk management for the firms clients.   The candidate will be involved in all aspects of financial planning from gaining a full understanding of a clients assets and goals to providing a comprehensive strategy to maximize wealth while minimizing tax liability and risk.   This is not a sales role, no cold calling! The role will be involved in financial training seminars, networking and business development activities.

Requirements The ideal candidate will possess a bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance along with at least 3 years of public accounting/Tax compliance and planning experience. 

A CPA is also required.  CFP is a plus. 

An entrepreneurial spirit and high degree of motivation is also required along with strong interpersonal skills and the desire to develop/build a business. 

Prior wealth/portfolio management experience or estate planning experience is also desirable.
