Job Description

Tax Manager $80-90k + bonus


Our client has a great opportunity for a 5+ year Big 4 Senior Tax Accountant that is ready to make the step up to a Tax Manager position in industry.

This position will be responsible for assisting the Director of Tax Accounting and the International Tax Director in the following areas: FAS 109 and financial reporting for income taxes and calculations and analysis surrounding the Company’s more complicated aspects of its US income tax return, including foreign tax credit, E&P tracking, Subpart F, Section 199 and R&D tax credits. This position will also assist with various other tax planning initiatives and special projects as needed. This position will report to the Director of Tax Accounting.

Key Areas of Responsibility
• Assist with different aspects of FAS 109 on a global basis, including documentation and calculations surrounding FIN 48, preparation and review of income tax provisions and other analysis of FAS 109 issues, and SOX 404 compliance management. Assist with worldwide income tax provision consolidation process, including analysis and documentation of FAS 123R, valuation allowance, APB 23 and financial statement disclosure.
• Manage and monitor global results to ensure Company’s financial results comply with the global transfer pricing policy, including calculation of transfer pricing journal entries on a quarterly basis. Work with external service providers to ensure required transfer pricing documentation is in place and being executed.
• Assist with the calculation of the US foreign tax credit, earnings and profits of foreign subsidiaries, Subpart F income, Section 199 and R&D credit computation and documentation for US income tax compliance reporting.
• Responsible for working with current external compliance service provider in ensuring all international tax compliance related to the US Federal income tax return, including reporting on Forms 5471s, 8858s, and 1118s.
• Participation in other tax special projects and tax planning initiatives, as needed.
• Remain current in legislative and tax policy initiatives that have significant impact to the company.




Job Requirements

Degree in Accounting and 5+ years of Big 4 or large company Federal and State income retunr experience
FAS 109 and FIN 48
CPA preferred
Masters in Tax preferred
