Description

MedSolutions, the leader in radiology management, has an opportunity for   Healthcare Customer Service/Call Center Reps in our Franklin, TN office (Cool Springs).

This position requires strong data entry and excellent phone/customer service skills. The primary focus of the Call Center Rep is to accurately and timely enter demographic and medical information. Must be able to work any shift between the hours of 7am - 8pm CST.

Essential Job Functions

 

  • Receive inbound calls from physicians offices regarding preauthorization for radiology tests
  • Attach clinical information to cases for medical review
  • Data entry
  • Resolve Customer Service issues

 

Other Essential Functions

Ability to complete special projects or other duties as assigned

Must be able to sit at a desk and answer telephone calls (via headset) throughout the assigned shift

Professional aptitude to solve problems and answer questions based on current information

Ability to use PC and widely used software packages

Ability to communicate and educate in a highly professional and effective manner

Ability to multi-task and excel in a team setting

Ability to handle confidential information on a daily basis in a professional manner

Excellent customer service skills

Excellent organizational skills

  

Preferred Educational and/or Work Experience

High School graduate with diploma or equivalent required

Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) required
