Perrigo is the world's largest manufacturer of over-the-counter pharmaceutical and nutritional products for the store brand and contract manufacturing markets and an emerging developer, manufacturer and marketer of prescription generic drugs.
This position is responsible for managing US Cosmetics/Skin Care business, focusing on sales, marketing, strategy and implementation. The position reports to the Vice President, Sales – Cosmetics/Skin Care.
Main Tasks and Objectives:
• Create, build and implement marketing strategies
• Analyze market and trends
• Work closely with the R&D and “creative” center in the Consumer Products headquarters in Israel
• Interact, create presentation materials and present to retail chains the product offerings
• Support and lead the sales executive
• Initiate products launches
• Oversee logistical systems supporting this business unit
• Generate reports, relevant information and presentations to Perrigo’s relevant management
The incumbent develops and maintains contact with customer representatives, and manages the status and expectations of each account. The incumbent would oversee orders, Art, Accounting and other departments to ensure that customer expectations are achievable and are met. The incumbent analyzes existing and anticipated customer requirements and promotes consideration of Perrigo products to fill such requirements. The incumbent monitors trends in assigned regions and for these customers and recommends promotional plans which may anticipate these trends and/or meet specific customer needs. The incumbent ensures volume and margin objectives for these accounts are achieved. The incumbent participates in sales planning, identifying opportunities and/or problems in assigned accounts which may impact the department’s sales plans. The incumbent receives requests from new customers in opportunistic regions, evaluates the viability of these accounts and recommends further contact or actions for review by sales management. The incumbent also provides support in developing projects, information and/or follow up with customers or internal resources as needed.
