Description Houston Area Assistant Operations Manager

Description:

Position serves as the assistant to the Operations Manager or Regional Operations Manager and is responsible for assisting with all operational functions at the branch level including, but not limited to safety, receiving, shipping logistics, blending, and packaging. This position is also responsible for regulatory compliance at the branch level and for promoting and maintaining a work atmosphere of continual improvement.

Requirements

Requirements:

- Skills commensurate with a college degree or equivalent
- Minimum five years experience in chemical or related industry

- Supervisory experience / people skills

- Computer skills sufficient to effectively perform job requirements

- Ability to interface effectively and professionally with customers

- Ability to intervace and communicate effectively (oral and written)

- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
