Description

Our Waste Management Company located in Landover, Maryland with 18 million in sales and 4 locations in Maryland is seeking an experienced General Manager who will report to the President/Owner. Primary responsibilities include: efficiency of operations; establishing policies and procedures; training, managing and motivating staff; financial oversight; human resource and safety procedures; equipment inventory, maintenance and repair; pricing for service; assisting with bids and acquisitions; attending meetings with
customers, potential customer and fundraising events.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have 5 or more years experience as a General Manager or Operations Manager in waste management services operation. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (or a combination of education and 7 years experience).
