Registered Nurse Manager

The Village at St. Edward is a multi level care facility conveniently located behind Summit Mall in Fairlawn, Oh.  Our dedicated staff have been providing excellent care for our residents for over 45 years and we need caring and dependable individuals to continue this tradition of quality care.

We are currently seeking a full-time RN Nurse Manager for day shift.  The Nurse Manager has 24 hour responsibility for the operation and management of the nursing unit; must work independently to provide direct resident care including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation; supervises and directs care provided by nursing assistents; participates in continued professional development; performs other job related duties as assigned.  This RN position requires at least two years experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital or long term care facility.

Requirements:

• Graduate from NLN accredited school of nursing
• Current, valid license to practice as a registered nurse
• Ability to manage and supervise nursing staff
• Demonstrates evidence of leadership abilities, clinical competence and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of principles of growth and development for the entire life span with the ability to provide care appropriate for the adult and geriatric residents.
• Must have excellent customer service skills and be team oriented
