Job Description
The Advertising & Media Manager manages the multiple projects that external media agencies execute once they are developed in partnership with the marketing department. Specific duties include:

Supervision of the development of mass media and advertising programs, including but not limited to radio, TV, outdoor, in mall media and other media. This includes national, regional and individual store level programs.

Managing the execution of the annual advertising plan through external vendors to ensure its timely completion within budgeted resources, ensuring approvals are received and advertising runs as scheduled.

Managing online media marketing programs focused on driving traffic to the Helzberg.com web site, including banner ads and other alternative media.

Developing budgets and monitoring advertising expenditures to ensure projects are within budget and invoices are correct.

Developing grand opening media plans for all new stores and directing advertising agencies and internal staff in implementation of all plans, including budgeting, planning and scheduling of mass media.

Managing the value-added aspect of the advertising buys to improve media plans.

Gaining a strong understanding of customers' shopping patterns in order to develop marketing strategies for increasing sales. This may include monitoring consumer perceptions and attitudes as well as overseeing consumer research projects.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field required,
- Five to six years of experience in advertising, particularly traditional and online media is essential.
- Comprehensive project management skills are required to handle numerous projects simultaneously.
- Strong oral and written communication skills required.
- Experience with Microsoft Office is required.
