Position Overview

As a Pike Systems sales representative for the Northern Illinois territory, you will derive success from a consultative selling approach.  You will focus on selling solutions rather than product.  You will be required to analyze building layouts, staffing levels, and cleaning methods.  From this information, you will be able to identify specific areas of need and provide productivity-enhancing and cost-cutting solutions to clients.  You will provide client training on chemicals and equipment which is one of the value-added services offered to clients. 


Compensation

Compensation package includes salary, bonuses, car allowance, profit sharing, 401-K, health insurance, and paid vacation.  Sales representative’s salaries are based on applicable experience and range from $36,000-60,000.

Requirements

To be successful at Pike Systems

You must be a highly motivated analytical-type who can aggressively solicit new business and develop customer relationships while at the same time, lead and work side-by-side with other employees who are responsible for sales, warehousing, and product delivery.


Qualifications:

  • A college degree is preferred.  Strong, demonstrated sales experience can be substituted.
  • Ability to multi-task and set priorities
  • A customer focused and analytical approach to solving customer problems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
