Description

•             Plan, direct, and coordinate HR management activities to maximize the strategic use of human resources, and maintain functions, such as employee compensation and benefits, personnel policies, job classification evaluation, and regulatory compliance with DOL, EEOC, etc.  

•             Ensure that Company-wide policies and programs are aligned with strategic business objectives

•             Supervise activities of 3 HR Representatives  

•             Legal involvement with external legal firms, as well as in-house legal group

•             Risk mitigation

•             Respond to employee/management inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures

•             Involvement with quarterly bonus program

•             Train employees and managers on Company benefits package and HR policies and procedures

•             Mediate conflict, grievance and harassment issues while keeping maintaining confidentiality

•             Oversee all aspects of HCM and OTL processes

•             Monitor, advise and act on disciplinary matters in accordance with established policies and procedures

•             Coordinate and manager employee relocation

•             Adhere to all STD and FMLA guidelines

Requirements

•             B.A. or B.S. in Human Resources (or related field)

•             Minimum of 3 years of experience required

•             PHR certification preferred

•             Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint)

•             Strong communication skills (spoken, written and presentation)

•             Identify key strategic issues, opportunities and risks

•             Provide a positive company image to employees, colleagues, and general public              

•             Self-starter, detail-oriented and an out-of-the-box thinker

•             Strong hard (technical) skills, soft (people) skills and supervisory skills

•             Ability to defend and explain difficult issues and positions

•             Understand legal and ethical compliance
