Maintain and repair electronic equipment related to newspaper production. Install and maintain data and voice wiring, such as CAT-5/6, RG-6. Install and maintain computer systems.
Basic electronic schooling and 4 years experience in electronic repair or 7 years experience in diversified electronics and computer repair and support.
Knowledge of basic electronic circuitry, use of electronic test equipment, able to read and understand wiring diagrams and circuit diagrams, ability to connect electronic equipments using RS-232, RS-422 and Ethernet standards.
Knowledge of CTP imagers and processors in Prepress; IP networking; basic telephony; working knowledge of Windows, UNIX and Mac Operating Systems.
Basic Quark and Photoshop applications.
