Major Function:

 

As a Sales/Business Development Professional you will be responsible for identifying and capturing IT services business. The candidate will source, generate and manage sales opportunities with prospective IT services clients. Identify, qualify, negotiate and close new business opportunities and establish credibility with IT services client executives through understanding their business needs and leveraging IntelliDyne’s (ITD) services and solutions.  The qualified candidate will practice consultative/solutions selling to develop a strong understanding of each client’s requirements and priorities, cultivate and manage relationships with senior level prospects in both the business and technology functions within federal agencies.  He/She will work with ITD’s Services team to prepare presentations, proposals, Statements of Work (SOW), and ROI/Financial Models for prospective client.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

·         Qualify leads generated from industry and Federal Government contacts, follow-up on the most promising prospects for our services

·         Identify and qualify additional prospects from a wide range of enterprise companies and agencies

·         Set up meetings between our solution architects/subject matter experts and qualified prospects to discuss prospective solutions, identify customer concerns and preferences, and identify budget and funding profiles and constraints

·         Position us with the client as the preferred vendor for offered services

 

 


Job Qualifications

ducation, Training & Qualifications:

 

·         Minimum 5 years experience in consultative selling to the Federal Government

·         Highly motivated professional with excellent communication and inter-personal skills

·         Team player with a positive attitude, who can also work independently and set own priorities and tasks

·         Possess the core competencies and behaviors of a business development agent including:  understanding customer needs, articulating ITD benefits, closing sales and maintaining customer relationships, and leveraging leads into sales

·         Some travel is required where appropriate

·         Entrepreneurial attitude and ability to work independently

 

 

Desired Skills:

 

·         Understanding of the various aspects of IT infrastructure to include Network Operations, Information Assurance, DR/COOP

·         Experience selling technology solutions relating to applications development, particularly web based

·         Leverage network of contacts within Federal Government, particularly within HHS and System Integrator community
