We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounting Manager! Our client is a local Manufacturing/Distribution company that has a strong management team and reputation in their industry. Because of a few strategic investments in 2008, this company has turned record sales/profits over the last year. The Accounting Manager will oversee the company’s accounting functions and supervise a team. The Accounting Manager will report directly to the VP of Finance and will work in a stable, team-driven company culture with excellent benefits including: health benefits, 401k!
As the Accounting Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Prepare financial statements and work in conjunction with management to facilitate our month and year-end closing activities.
- Verify and audit accounts payable and billing functions.
- Prepare journal entries for inventory accounts and perform bank and account reconciliations.
- Track and make online payments for deliveries and inventory control management.
- Supervise staff of 3.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
- 7+years accounting experience preferred!
- Must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with QuickBooks a huge plus...
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and build relationships throughout our organization.
