Our client, a highly ranked, nationwide real estate/construction industry leader, has an opportunity for a Vice President of Finance & Corporate Controller. You will have the support of a seasoned management team as you lead & advise professionals regarding real estate transactions, mortgage banking operations, budgeting and captive insurance operations. Responsibilities include:
- Complex financial issues
- Variable interest entities
- Lease arrangements
- Trouble debt restructurings
- Acquisitions & divestitures
- NOLs
- Cash flow modeling
- Exposure analysis
- Securities and Exchange (SEC) reporting
- 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, Proxy Statements
- ERP systems
The ideal candidate will be a seasoned financial executive with a successful background in MANUFACTURING and/or large, public, complex, multi-location companies.
- Previous responsibility for controls, accounting, financial reporting (internal & external), SOX & analytics is a must.
- Must be able to see the big picture, yet be very detail oriented.
- Public accounting experience with 3+ busy seasons in auditing publicly traded companies is ESSENTIAL.
- Must have experience working for a $1+ Billion publicly traded company.
- Bachelor degree in financial or accounting plus MBA and CPA are required.
