Associate Sales Representative/Laser Technician

Today, ForTec is the leading medical laser outsource company in the United States, providing rental on a "per case" basis and exceeding our customer's expectations through the delivery of customized medical laser solutions and services.

We are expanding our business and are seeking an enthusiastic individual to start up our Houston region.  This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to break into medical sales!  This entry level position starts out as a Laser Technician.  Technicians deliver (in company vehicle), operate lasers and provide technical assistance to surgeons in operating rooms at regional medical facilities.   Learn about the various applications of lasers in the field of medicine including ENT, dermatology, plastic surgery, urology, gynecology and cardio-thoracic surgery.   

Under the direction of the Regional Sales Manager, you will also learn the ForTec sales process and obtain experience calling on current and prospective customers. 

Initial training will include perioidic travel to Dallas.

Requirements:

·         Possess a verifiable four year degree (BA/BS).

·         2 years proven sales experience in healthcare/medical industry; outside the medical field will be considered

·         Driven individual with a verifiable track record of sales accomplishments and excellence

·         Extensive travel.  Must have valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance and good driving record.

·         Excellent computer skills required. Previous experience on CRM preferred.

·         Excellent oral, written and dynamic presentation and relationship building skills.

·         Must be able to lift/push/pull 50 pounds of medical laser equipment.

·         Must be able to stand +2 hours due to long surgical procedures.

·         Must be able to work independently.
