Princeton HealthCare System is currently searching for a Nurse Manager, RN at Princeton House location on Herrontown Road.

The Nurse Manager is responsible for the coordination, allocation, and management of human, fiscal, material, support, information, and system resources needed to provide delivery of care to patients and to foster healthy, productive working relationships for a nursing unit.  The Nurse Manager plans unit staffing to meet patient care needs according to staff level of expertise using established patient care standards. Empowers staff by delegating responsibility/authority to those demonstrating competence in decision making. Uses organizational goals to develop and administer unit budget. Monitors staffing to remain within budgetary constraints. Evaluates patient care for achievement of intended outcomes, efficient use of resources, and perceived satisfaction of patients/families. Makes management decisions and determines priorities of the unit consistent with delegated authority, based on available resource, and effective in achieving intended results. Assures compliance with current State, JCAHO, and professional organizational standards. Promotes expected patient outcomes through the utilization of PI data. Determines patient care standards for the unit, with staff, that are consistent with organizational philosophy and established patient care standards. Supports, coaches and role models all aspects of nursing care. Assures that payroll is completed in a timely manner and is accurate. Promotes Patient Satisfaction. Maintains an active role in orientation of new staff.
