Description of Research Scientist / GPS / INS:

Intelligent Automation, Inc., a Research and Development organization headquartered in Rockville, Maryland, conducts state of the art research and product development in the fast evolving areas of Distributed Intelligent Systems, Robotics, Networks, GPS/INS Navigation, and Control. We are looking for a highly self-motivated individual in the area of GPS/INS Navigation .


Job duties include:

 

  • Develop GPS/INS navigation algorithms and systems;
  • Write technical papers and research proposals.

Job Requirements

 

  • Masters degree or higher in electrical engineering or related field
  • Strong background in GPS algorithms and GPS/INS integration (loosely and tightly coupled)
  • Solid understanding of Extended Kalman filtering applied to GPS/INS
  • Software development experience in Matlab and/or C++
