Position Summary
We are seeking a senior level software engineer to join a growing Sustaining Development Team with focus on the fastpath networking software.

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose and triage live customer issues.
  • Develop key supportability features and enhancements.

Requirements
  • BS/BA degree in Computer Science or related degree and 5+ years industry experience
  • Significant experience developing/maintaining high-quality applications that use non-blocking transport protocols.
  • Expert knowledge and extensive experience with C++ and C.
  • 5+ years experience developing/maintaining firewall, switching, or networking software for high-end equipment in C/C++.
  • Excellent analytic / trouble-shooting skills.
  • Excellent design skills.
  • Excellent written communication skills.

      • Physical Demands and Work Environment
      Duties are performed in an office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table. This position requires the ability to use a computer keyboard, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material. Duties may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends).
