Claims Manager-Property

Our client is a financiall strong property & casualty carrier providing insurance primarily for businesses. They presently offer an opportunity to join their claims team in a leadership role. This position will have overall responsibility for performance of the property claims unit.

Claims Manager-Property responsibilities:

Train, coach and mentor claims staff. Oversight of commercial property claims team. Assure compliance with relevant regulatory law and with the company’s contractual and legal obligation.Small pending of more complex/higher exposure claims.

Claims Manager-Property requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of experience with commercial property claims as well as the supervision and development of staff. Undergraduate degree. Work toward completion of applicable industry designations. Proficiency in assigning and analyzing investigations, evaluating coverage, determining loss value, and superior negotiation skills are required. In addition to having managerial responsibilities, this position will have a pending of complex cases.
