Requirements - Optician :

This team player needs to also bring the following skills:

 

  • Ability to communicate with patients to effectively educate them on options that they have for their eye care needs.

  • Time management

  • Computer excellence

  • Positive phone presence

  • An appetite for continual learning and positive change

  • Strong work ethic

  • Passion for patient care.

  • Ability to communicate and understand the patients needs and then utilize this information to educate patient on various options and choices available to provide the best eyewear opportunities for the patients vision needs.

  • Ability to post to ledger, understanding of billing, understanding of insurance providers and submitting claims, figuring daily deposit and other similar accounting functions.

  • Ability to communicate with patients to effectively educate them on options that they have for their eye care needs.

  • Previous Optical experience is definitely a plus, especially as an Optician.
